Do not forget to mark Kurentovanje on your calendar today. Ptuj’s streets and squares will be filled with several thousands of carnival and traditional costumes, who will tell the stories of the past, future and present.
After the parade, there will be a party with Recesija band and a DJ at the Mestni trg square.
Starting from 10 AM and lasting until evening, the culinary delights with a variety of activities for the whole family will be waiting for you at the Kurent Fair at the Ptuj marketplace (mestna tržnica). Between 4 PM and 6 PM, don’t miss the Carnival festivities z obogatenim dogajanjem za otroke. Pride tudi Kuža pazi!
During Kurentovanje, there will also be LOKALKO – a fair of local artisans, where you can discover unique products by Slovenian creators. Support local masters and treat yourself to authentic handcrafted items and souvenirs that preserve tradition.
